  1. PowerPC native code (mixing engine) can be enabled by adding the
  2. USE_PPC_POWERUP tooltype.

  4. WARNING: for best use of PowerPC code, you need:

  6. - the PowerUp kernel
  7.   or
  8. - MorphOS
  9.

  11. The use of WarpOS (with PowerUp emulation) reduces ProStationAudio
  12. performances considerably, much below 060 speed. On most WarpOS
  13. systems, audio will not play without audible artifacts (stuttering). 
  14. If you experience this problem you should:

  16. - boot with a different PowerPC kernel
  17.   or
  18. - disable PowerPC code
  19.
